Coincidentally, US house Julien's Auctions are having a sale on Sat and Sunday that will include quite a few lots of Fleetwood and the McVie's bits and pieces.

Suspect the hammer prices for her stuff will have just risen a fair bit!

Re: Christine McVie RIP
She was at the top of her profession for 45 years. Very quietly and self-effacingly one of the rock greats.

Now there's no-one left to save Stevie the next time she goes into meltdown.

RIP Ms Perfect.

Very sad news.....Lucky enough to see her at o2 a few years back when she made her first appearance with Fleetwood Mac for donkeys years.

She had battled cancer and I thought she had been given the all clear .

Was lucky enough to see her with Chicken Shack at the Cherry Tree in Welwyn Garden City for her last gig with the band before joining Fleetwood Mac.

Still amazes me how they churned out ther quality they did in that environment. Was a proper soap opera. But it worked. RIP

Saw her play with Chicken Shack at the Central London Polytechnic late '60s. Dim memory now but she stood out from the band. Still got my 7' single of I'd rather go blind/Nightlife on Blue Horizon label. Definitely helped form my musical taste. Playing I'd rather go blind as I type. Superb.

RIP Christine Perfect

Not sure what Fleetwood Mac version I like the best, the Peter Green one was great but I like the Stevie Nicks version as well, in any case RIP Christine McVie
